Ashlee Cooper, MLS (ASCP) is the Founder and President of Droneversity. She is a Part 107 certified Remote pilot with an sUAS rating, PA drone association board member, Federal Aviation Administration, Safety Team representative, and the first Black female FAA DronePro in the U.S. North East region. She has developed STEAM-aviation training for multiple organizations. She is also the CEO of Drone Navigations. Develops curriculum. LLC (DN) (now Droneversity) with the mission to continue the Black aviation legacy in the drone revolution. Droneversity’s students have a success rate of 100%. The Beginner Aviation and Drone Navigators programming includes drone camps to prepare students for the future job market, starting with the instruction of her code- learning and drone-flying 4 year old. As an industry member of the FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Collegiate Training Initiative, Droneversity is committed to creating career pathways for economic development.

In addition to earning the FAA Part 107 Certification, Faye Paige Edwards, MBA, is a GirlTrek community organizer with a Community Health Worker certification. She has an extended history as an entrepreneur and has provided training in multiple settings. Her responsibilities as President of Dronversity include business and curriculum development and she is a Droneversity Instructor

Captain Neferteri Strickland
Captain Neferteri Stickland PMP, CISSP, CEH is a Cybersecurity Strategist and military officer. After joining the Army National Guard she became a certified Private Pilot while still in high school.
Neferteri is a highly effective strategist who motivates others to solve pressing problems and accomplish meaningful goals. She is the creative genius behind two powerful vehicles that are expanding STEM opportunities for all - Teachers & The Third Lieutenant Podcast. Both bring together education stakeholders to achieve the common goal of equal STEM education and careers. Her audience includes scholars, parents, Military Veterans, business and industry, education, non-profits, government, and philanthropy.
Droneversity is honored and humbled to have her as an Education Advisor. Captain Strickland understands the national and global power and promise of drone education, training, and career planning. She is an invaluable resource in executing our global STEM initiative.
Our shared passion is to increase the pool of role models and mentors who offer new perspectives to create and support the development of career paths for a diverse community.

Eno Umoh
The co-founder of Global Air Media (GAM), a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed drone services company headquartered in Baltimore. Since 2015 the company has focused on providing drone training, education, mapping, and consultation services to clients around the world. In addition to their commercial services, GAM launched the Global Air Drone Academy (GADA) to promote 'STEAM' technology using drones, drone safety, and entrepreneurship in this emerging industry.
As a licensed drone pilot and engineer, Eno is passionate about inspiring young people to take advantage of the many opportunities in entrepreneurship. Eno recently relocated to Lagos, Nigeria to set up their operations full time in Africa.
GADA has delivered drone technology workshops in partnership with the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Embassies in Nigeria, Zambia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan. To date they have provided training to more than 7,000 students in 600+ schools and in 9 countries
Dean of Flight Safety
LaRon McLean is our Air Traffic Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the Director of National Airspace Advisement for Drone Navigations. As the Air Traffic Control SME and Director of National Airspace Advisement, LaRon is in a unique position to advise Drone Navigations on how to best collaborate drone operations with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
LaRon began his career as an air traffic control specialist with the United States Air Force (USAF), where he managed several air traffic control facilities throughout the United States. In addition, LaRon has experienced controlling and managing international facilities located in places such as Honduras, Spain, South Korea, Ireland and Afghanistan where International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations were enforced.
LaRon is a decorated veteran who continues to serve in the US military. From LaRon’s several years of air traffic experience he is able to expertly advise the drone community on how to work with the air traffic to ensure safe and well-ordered operations.
LaRon holds a bachelor’s degree of science in air traffic control management and airway safety. We are thrilled to count LaRon among our distinguished members of the Droneversity team.
Lead Flight Instructor
Kent Tribbett is multi-talented. Upon returning to the United States after success as an international basketball player, he enjoyed broadcasting and transportation specialist careers. In 2018 he began flying drones recreationally. Next he earned an FAA commercial drone pilot license and now serves as Droneversity’s Drone Fleet and Obstacle Course Manager. He is a drone media consultant; builds and repairs drones; teaches robotics; and FPV Drone Racer. Highly skilled in drone flight, he conducts training and instruction for beginners to experts, with weekend sessions. Additionally, he enjoys coaching youth in multiple sports, including basketball.
Dr. Je’Nai L Righter is one of the nation’s emerging leaders in Higher Education. Her areas of expertise include enhancing equity in institutions' campus climate, policies, leadership, and operations. Dr. Righters’ life and career have shown her to be a champion for women, minorities, and those who have been marginalized by societal and economic barriers. Most recently she was the first woman of color to hold an upper-level position, serving as an Assistant Dean of Students, at Neumann University. Her pioneering work of advocacy has opened doors for the unheard and unseen and created platforms to address the issues that have eroded their voice and visibility.
As a high-performing educational leader and expert strategist, Je’Nai transforms strategic plans into workable solutions. Her visionary insight allows her to weave together the threads of organizations to produce tactile programs and actions. Those who work with her are empowered to live their purpose and inspired to take action to live that purpose effectively. She is a trusted, credible voice with sound authority in the practice of transformative and relational leadership. She has been the driver of student success at several institutions of higher education, including: Immaculata University, University of Sciences and Lincoln University.
Je’Nai holds a Doctor of Education, in Education Leadership and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, from St. Joseph’s University, and a B.A in English from Cheyney University. Above all of these titles, Je’Nai holds the honor of being wife to Brian and mother to Chyna- Browne, Olivia, and Naomi.
